100 EA CW Award – English version

100 EA CW Award

1.- Contacts made after January 1st, 1996 will be counted. Any licensed amateur or SWL can apply for the award.

2.- To qualify, 100 points are required. Points are earned by contacting EA stations in CW as follows:

Stations in CQ Zones 14, 15, 16, 20 and 33 need to work 100 Spanish stations (1 point per QSO).

Stations in CQ Zones 4, 5, 8, 9, 11, 17, 18, 21, 22, 34, 35, 36 and 37 need 50 contacts with Spanish stations (2 points per QSO).

Stations in the rest of the world only need only 25 QSOs with Spanish stations (4 points per QSO).

3.- It is necessary to work 3 different bands and contact with stations from 7 call districts.

4.- The same station may be worked on different bands, one contact per band. A Spanish station working portable in another district counts as a different station, one contact per band.

5.- A silver medal is awarded for 500 points and a gold medal for 1000 points.

SWL: Shortwave listeners may also request the award per the above rules, but ensuring that at least one third of the contacts heard are different stations.
